In recent years, it’s not strange that many Chinese students going abroad to study. In 2012, the number of Chinese student going abroad has hit 400 thousand while the students back to China reached a new high with 2.7 thousand. The original intention of many overseas students is to study new knowledge and improve their competitiveness. However, the market for them is not that positive as expected. Returned students have been complaining about the lack of talent developers but they don’t know they’ve already ignore the bright advantage of them.
In the Spring Job Fair for Talented Overseas Student in 2013, more than 3000 overseas students applied for less than 600 positions. Some employers complained that many students are unfit for a higher post but unwilling to take a lower one in his work. Some of them come back to China and want a high salary with no oversea internship experience but a resume. Many students have a high expectation for their salary because they only take the expense of studying overseas into consideration. Confronted with employment pressure in China, they’re supposed to adjust their attitude and be realistic about their own abilities. Employers would offer you a satisfactory salary if your work can reflect your personal value.
